You may be thinking to yourself, "why oh why does he love pop culture?" and let me be perfectly clear....
I HATE POP CULTURE
I find it to be the worst fucking waist of time and energy to devote ANY time to people such as Paris Hilton, anna nichole smith, and simon cowell. These people offer nothing to this world but spectacle and obsurdity. SO why then do I claim to love it so?
Well, when you think about it, pop culture can be seen as a catalyst to our american, and indeed, global economy. Just wonder at the things 14 year old girls would spend their parent's money on if not justin timberlake cd's.
Where else could they spend their time? at the library?! HA!
I can't think of anything a young person or a bored adult could be doing with their time if not being totally devoted to E! entertainment news... what's that honey? They could be solving the world's problems? they could be spending time with their children? they could be studying for college?....
oh yeah, well I guess they could be doing any of that..
Or I guess they could be getting into drugs, alchohol, or SEX! Thank the lord BABY JESUS that we have POP culture to save our children from the evils of the world! I know I'd be remissed if I didn't get down on bended knee and thank the big #1 in the sky for giving me and mine every fucking adversity known to man! Thanks big guy! you fucking suck...

back to the subject-
-how is it that fucking spoon in her ass Paris Hilton can command the respect and idolitry of millions of girls in this world when we pay no attention to high-level female scientists or actual ROLE MODELS to which we could show our kids and say "hey, she did it, so can you". and I'm not talking about sex tapes! -her father must be so proud-
